Get to Know Me

Hi! My name is Summer and I’ve been working with polymer clay since I was seven years old. I love tiny things, so I absolutely love making miniatures!

I've done a lot of things in my life—going to grad school for clinical mental health counseling, being an editor, being a teacher (both art/clay and Kindergarten), being a Cannabis grower and educator (and, yes, a budtender as well)—and I'm officially adding "miniature artist" to the list! Although I make just about everything, I specialize in "alternative" dollhouse accessories—usually revolving around weed or other psychedelics (and other 'adult' activities). 🤓 I’m also excited to offer a few pet-related miniatures now—and hope to continue expanding that collection!

I work out of my house in Albuquerque, NM, surrounded by my silly dog—Grandma, my big cat—Joben, my smaller cat—Pete, and my awesome partner (and our seven chickens)! Each piece is made-to-order and completely handmade by me, with love and positive Albuquerque vibes. ✌️

🔅 Please read item descriptions thoroughly and review the photos! This will help you find everything you need to know about each piece. Please also scroll down to review my shop FAQ. Thank you for supporting small businesses and artists! 🔅

FAQs

  • I create and ship orders on a WEEKLY basis. My weekly routine is: creation on Sundays and Mondays, glazing on Tuesdays, packing on Wednesdays, and shipping on Thursdays. ⏰ You can check out this page to see when your order will be shipped depending on when you purchase it. ☺️

  • Yes! ✨ If I'm confident I can do it well, I am willing to create almost anything. If you have a custom order in mind, please contact me (you can use the Google form at the bottom of this page) so we can discuss it further! 😍

  • I wrap each miniature or button in tissue paper, then nestle them in a small, sturdy box, which I then put into a 6x9” bubble mailer. 💜 If you order multiple items, they will be in one mailer but wrapped separately to lower the chance of breakage.

  • Due to the custom and delicate nature of my miniatures, I generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged. Please read the product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

I take great care in packaging, but if your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We'll work together to find a solution, which may include a replacement or refund.

  • I ship to almost every location, worldwide! 🌍 I use flat rates that are per ORDER, not item—generally, I can safely fit up to ~10 minis in one package, depending on their sizes.

For those in the U.S. and most U.S. territories, I offer a flat rate of $5 (USPS Ground) or $11 (USPS Priority), as well as FREE USPS Ground Shipping for any order over $35! ✨

Depending on where you live, you should have at least one standard shipping option, if not also an expedited option.

Currently, these are the only countries/areas I can NOT ship to: Antarctica, Belarus, Bhutan, Bonaire, Cuba, Iran, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russian Federation, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin (French part), Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkmenistan, Yemen.

  • Yes! I try to keep my Flickr up-to-date with new photos of orders and projects I’m working on! Click here to check out my portfolio!

  • Yes! I sometimes do pop-ups at local dispensaries and regularly look for markets to participate in around the Albuquerque, NM, area! 🌶️ If you happen to find me at a market, some of the minis for sale will be “in-person exclusives”—not available here, on my website, or in my Etsy shop. 🎉 So I hope to meet you all sometime! I try to keep this section up-to-date, but if you really want to stay updated on where I’ll be, contact me!

Next Upcoming In-Person Event: I’ll be at Napoli Coffee’s Summer Market on Saturday, August 9th, 2025!

And: Yes! I love to work with other artists! It’s a bonus if you live in Albuquerque and/or New Mexico (so we can do in-person things), but I’m always down to network with any other mini-lovers and artists! 🤓

  • I primarily use polymer clay and UV resin—or a mix of both—depending on the miniature. 🖌️ Some pieces are also glazed with UV resin, but most are glazed with Liquitex Professional Varnish, either matte or gloss, depending on the mini. I also use acrylic paint on the pieces that are hand painted. 🎨
